SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Graphic Design: At the weekly newspaper The Caroline Progress, a subsidiary of The Tribune Co., I was the only staff Graphic Artist. It gave me the opportunity to work on numerous aspects of graphic arts including designing ads, tab covers, flexi covers and special section covers. My participation in the process of fully paginating the paper provided me a working knowledge of newspaper layout. I also spent four years as the Graphic Artist for Sena Foundation’s quarterly magazine, “Sharing the Seasons”. These jobs laid a solid foundation for my graphics skills. These skills have been more fully developed as a Graphic Artist with the daily newspaper, The St. Augustine Record.

Web Design: I have been active in Web Design for over fifteen years. In addition to my last position for StAugustine.com, a site that averages 1.6 million page views per month, I have designed web sites for a variety of freelance clients. The homepage of StAugustine.com held my design for seven months in 2008.

Photography: While I have been taking snapshots my whole life, it has only been in the past couple of years that I have started taking it more seriously and am enjoying the process immensely. I have provided professional photos for a variety of print advertising and website design.

Videography: I have developed several video productions over the past 5 years, including a LIVE interview show (Airborne with Matt Jeffs) that was broadcast on the radio (WFOY) and simulcast LIVE over the web on StAugustine.com.
